Hi all, I'm back with Lego, my 5-year-old stunted iguana (still unsure of his gender, but I'm going to say "he" for now!).
Today I noticed something weird. He was standing with his front feet soaking in his water bowl, and he started moving his tail from side to side (sort of a rippling motion) slowly, and not really in a wide range (so the motion wasn't from the base of his tail like when they swim, but rather along the middle to the end). He did this for about a minute, then stopped, got out of the bowl and went to his basking spot.
Anyone know what he was doing? My best guess would be that it was a reflexive motion. Either connected to swimming, or he might've been in an awkward position.
Thanks for reading, I'm looking forward to hearing thoughts/ideas or downright explanations

Zair tends to "wag" and "wave" his tail for different reasons. Very normal...:-) The one that worries me the most is the one when he postures. He's getting ready to whack-a-doodle the dickens out of me and he's just warming it up!!

Angus swings his tail in circles when he is getting ready to go to sleep, it must comfort him. He does it once he is layed down.

Gambit wags his tail like that sometimes when I am holding him and rubbing his head... usually while his eyes are closed too. It seems almost... joyful or something.
