Yesterday I wrote about how nice it was supposed to be in this absolutly wonderful (sarcasm) state I live in. I was so looking forward to taking Zilla out and let him get some natural sunlight and heat. HA, what a joke. We were lucky to hit 60 degrees. And it felt much colder than that. Today is supposed to get in the mid 70s. Yeah right, maybe in August (Much more sarcasm). OK, I need a pity party. I live in the dirtiest, nastiest state in the USA. The weather is a complete joke, and all the roads are full of potholes. I NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE!!! I"M GOING CRAZY!!! Ooookkkkaaaayyyy, I feel better now.

I wish it's all year! but, no. I've been able to take him out occasionally since late January.
The weekend before Easter and Easter weekend were great, and I had him out most of those weekends. In fact, Easter weekend, he was out Friday afternoon (to work with me), all day Saturday (running errands and visiting Holly Hayden), and all day Sunday (after church over to my mom's).
Actually, this weekend's a bit cooler than it has been, but he's dying to get out. He's sitting on the window sill as we speak looking out.

LATE JANUARY!!! My God, you are soooo spoiled. It just finally got nice today (78 degrees). And I don't expect for that to stay around until late May. Okay, now I'm really jealous and will remain in a deep depression until I can't take it any longer and will have to jump off of a very high roof....or on second thought, maybe not. But I'm still majorly jealous.

Don't jump! Sorry your weather sucks... but take advantage of TODAY! get off the computer and get Zilla outside, even if it's just for a little while. I took Gil on walks throughout the winter... sometimes it was down in the 50's. I'd walk to the end of my street and back... only about 5 minutes or so, but if it was WAY sunny, we were out. I figured that even 5 minutes of natural sun was better than none.

You know Steph, I would love to get off this computer and get Zilla out, but since I'm at work until 5, I'm just going to have to wait. Because believe me, if I was home, we'd definitly be out. Just my luck...first nice day of the year, and I'm stuck..where's that high roof again. LOL
