Is it possible that George is done with breeding season? The reason I ask is that his apatite has double in the last week. Just curious

Breeding season starts and stops are different with each individual ig, and they change by the year as well. The only way to tell is if you notice sudden changes in behavior...so maybe Georgie is done. Some years, Herc is in season for only a couple of months. One year, he never came out of season...that year was REALLY difficult, as you might imagine. YIKES! ;D

My igs are definitely coming off breeding season as their appetites have come back at last, and they have stopped posturing and nodding at each other all day over the "fence" (a divider between their cages, which is really one big cage separated into two with expanded metal.) Up until recently I thought Clover was a girl, how wrong I was!
