i have been reading some topics and people have been saying that they feed thee iggs dandelions i was wondering if i can use the 1's in my backyard? or can you buy them online? P.s. did you no that they make a whine out of dandelion's?

Dandelions are not only safe, but igs usually love them. (both the green leaves and the flowers) The greens rank 3rd place for calcium to Phosphorus ratio on our food chart. BUT...you have to be sure they come from a place that has not been exposed to lawn chemicals/fertilizers

I even went as far as to plant some today that I have been collecing seeds for. I have noticed that they like shade to semi-sun so I am using the collards (when they fillout) as shade for them. Then the collards are protected by sunflowers from noon day sunburn as they don't like heat. This condo association is going to hate me.

Dandies are one of the best all around foods you can feed an ig...as Tesa said...chemical free 100%.

They (the association) got all over the neighbors case for just planting a lilly and hosta garden. I have mustard, collards, squash, mellon, sunflower, dandelion, raddish, turnip, alfalfa...
