Hey all, I'm sorry that ir has taken me so long to get back to the post and up date everyone. Iggy went back to the vet and he is going to continue the fluid treatments. He is taking his antibiotic everyother day and taking the fluid injections now once a week. He is eating much better. In fact when I fed him this evening he attacked his food and then he went and took a nap. I really appreciate all of the concern that everyone has shown for Myself and for Iggy. Now that he is better we have to concentrate on getting his weight back up to where it needs to be. Again, thanks to everyone out there who really cares for our little and not so little green babies. I will keep you posted in the comming weeks to let you all know how he is doing. Debbie and Iggy.

HOORAY FOR IGGY!!!!!
He's 5, he's alive and he's fighting his way back to good health!
And as a special reward for his struggle he gets a new "palace" enclosure! YIPEE!
Could life be any better.
Poor Bam-Bam must feel soooo left out.
Rex and Rocky send head-bobs just for her.
Glad to hear all the good news. It helps me fight the "winter depression" us Northerners face this time every year.
Please keep us posted.

Hello. Just wanted to post on how Iggy is doing. He went back to the vet this past Saturday and he has gained weight! yeah He was at 4 1/2 pounds when he got sick and now in one week he is up to 4.8 pounds. He got another fluid treatment and is to go back to vet on this comming Saturday. When he goes this Sat. Doc is going to recheck his enzyme levels to see if he is leveling out. He is eating twice a day not and is starting to shed again. I will keep you all posted as to his progress. Thanks a million. Debbie and babies.

Hi Debbie-
I'm back in town again and so glad to hear Iggy continues to improve and gain weight. I thought about him constantly while I was away. Thanks to Tesa, I was aware that he was continuing to improve.
Also, glad to hear he's bulking up. Way to go! He'll be the picture of Ig health in no time.

Well all here is the latest update on Iggy. He is eating very well. He attacks his food when you feed him. lol ;D He is gaining weight but has slowed down. He is getting collard greens turnip green and musterd green and greenbeans and butternut squash and snow peas and and and..... I think that is all but not too sure. OH and pasta for the fat. He has started a very healthy shed and is very sweet now. His attitude I think was because he was so sick and we did not know it. I am going to purchase a baby scale so that we can weigh them weekly. lots of Iggy love from everyone here. Debbie Iggy Bam-=Bam and Miss Zak.

Hi Debbie-
Glad to hear Iggy is continuing to gain weight.
Important statement you made: Iggy's behavior was off because he was ill, in this case a systemic infection.
Very important that everyone monitor their Igs behavior regularly. It's fine to have a bad day here and there, but any prolonged behavior change is usually indicative of a health or psychological problem.
Fortunately, you caught Iggy's in time.
Be diligent and take note of any off-behavior. It could save an Igs life!
