About a week ago for no aparent reason Orko stopped eating much of anything. I thought maybe he didn't like something in the super salad, so I went to the store 3 days ago and bought collards, escarole and chickory. He didn't really eat much of the new salad. I've tried hand feeding him cantelope and he has eaten about one peace a day. Orko's UVB bulb is about 6months old now so I am ordering a replacement. I also started giving him www.parazap.com today in the hopes that will spur his appetite. Any ideas?

Well today Orko showed some improvement. He actually ate everything on his plate. If he is as hungry tomorrow I will fully endorse parazap as being an awesome product.

Let us know how orko eats today. You know they go through phases, just like humans do.
I give Thrasher the same amount of food every morning. Sometimes she eats it all by noon and wants more, other times there will still be some left at the end of the day.

Yes, just as Tesa suggested, they go through phases.
During winter months, their entire metabolism slows down and they eat much less.
Of course, any changes to their envorinment, including you not sticking to a schedule, can do the same.
Keep an eye on the eating behaviors. Start marking a calendar with what's eaten everyday. Hopefully, you'll track an upward trend.
Sounds like the parazap may have done the trick!
Good luck and keep us posted.

I'm assuming it is/was more than just a seasonal thing because around the 20th he just stopped eating. He infact stoppe licking food, I tested that theory by placing my finger next to his mouth and... *lick*. Next I placed a collard green piece by his mouth and he just closed his eyes However he is eating a good amount now and I think if I keep up with the parazap for another 8 days he will be fine. I also bought a new UVB light a few days ago so maybe that's part of it.
