Okay, the igs are off their antibiotics now. To get the proper bacteria back in their stomachs.... How much yogurt, how often, and for how long? They each had a big helping of peach yogurt last night and I thought they would go insane with how much they loved it. I may have found a replacement for banana treats!

yep, that's right. As a dairy product, yogurt contains animal proteins which are unaccaptable in the daily diet. You need to read labels and find a brand that has the LAC seal and lists acidophilus and bifido. (I can't remember if LAC stands for "Live active cultures" or "live acidophillus cultures") Either way, it should be plain yogurt with live cultures. Give them about 1 teaspoon.

An alternative would be to find a vegan yogurt... one with NO animal products and feed that. I think moderation is still the key, though.
