I think AJ has a broken toe. It is always bent and whenever I touch it he moves his foot away. He doesnt do that with the other foot. Should I take him to the vet for this?

Hi Jenna. You will need to see a vet. It's possible the toe can be splinted and "fixed", but it's also possible that he loses it completely. Best of luck, and please let u know how AJ is doing.

Many of Zair's toes are broken and were never set. He had MBD so bad at one time it's a wonder he has any straight toes left. I now have trouble with two of his toes crossing over the top of the toe next to it. They are also grossly oversized.
As the claw grows it gets the "new claw sharp" on the end of it. He has cut a spot to his knuckle on one foot and if his toes continue to be too troublesome they will have to be amputated. I have been able to stay on top of them after the initial messy knuckle thing...but setting your igs toe would be a good thing to do.
