Just went in to check food and found little blood smears along wall by basking shelf. Checked toes, spikes, tail and can't find any injuries.
Blood is dried, so whatever it was it's not still bleeding. And from where they are on the wall, I would think it's from her tail.
What next?

I agree with Tesa. Take a close look at what you fed the Ig and what he could have eaten that's not food.
Many times we have panicked over "blood" only to discover it was strawberries or raspberries smeard on its face! LOL
Check the poop too, if there is blood in the poop, vet ASAP!
Above all else, don't panic, think rationally. The Ig can sustain some injuries without it being life threatening.

Found it! Very tip of tail has a little bitty scab on it. Also found out that my son had gone in yesterday to pick her up/pet her and she protested strongly (ran like crazy). In the process, she finally administered her first good tail whips. Drew blood twice!
First I thought it might be Steve's blood, but upon a magnifying glass inspection, found the wound on her tail.
I have given her a betadine bath. Do I need to put neosporin on it?
Thanks, Cyndi & Kyo (I do NOT like men in my house!)

Hi Cyndi-
I'll ignore the "men in my house" comment long enough to answer. LOL
Betadine bath, and a bit of Neosporin. After a few days (and a good scab develops) let it be. Tail tips are mostly dry scales and not too harmful. Notice clearly the injury point and the area immediately surrounding it. If you notice any discoloration or change around the injury area after a week or so, a vet visit may be in order (dry ganrene).
