I'm so sorry to hear about Will - I lust now read this thread for the first time. He will most definitely be in my thoughts and prayers until he is well again. I agree with everyone else, there is no way this could be your fault, you are so attentive and loving with him.

Nance - I apologize from the bottom of my heart for not responding sooner. I haven't been able to get back to this site for any great length of time - only long enough to ask a question or two. We're getting ready to adopt another Ig in need. He's very very large, and not very socialized, so we've been trying to figure out the best housing situation for him, costs etc.... getting lined up with the new (recommended!) vet etc... We're also trying to get our newly acquired kid (of the human kind) adapted to school, and he's just not cooperating at all Been very hectic and stressful around here lately! Have you heard back from the vet about the type of hep Will has? (I haven't yet read your Hepititis thread, but plan to after this post - so if I ask questions answered in that thread, I apologize). I am VERY happy to hear he's pooping, and eating his slurry! That is definatly a step in the right direction! I am just so touched by your dedication to your Will I don't care what the vet, or anyone else says, there is just NO WAY on earth I could ever believe this was your fault! You did not do this to him . Honestly it scared me how you said Will may have gotton it - off of food left too long. There have been the day here or the day there where I was gone and didn't get the food picked up and replaced out of my babies areas before, but I can assure you that after what you've told me, I will never let that happen again. I am so so so very sorry you and Will are going through all of this, but I know you'll both come out of this in excellent condition! You are an awesome mom to Will, and he absolutly adores you for that! Don't ever forget that (((((hugs))))) ~Nan

Thanks for all your wonderful thoughts, Nan I appreciate them very much!
Yes, about the bacterial kind of hep..the vet said the bacteria could have come from food left out too long. I have been guilty of that too.
Who is your newly acquired kid? Boy you have your hands full
Nan please read my lost post of today under the hepatitis thread. it's kind of silly ig mommy stuff, but i think you will appreciate it.
Thanks again for all your encouragement, kind words and support. They mean alot to me and keep my spirits up.
Good luck with your new adoptee Ig. How many do you have now?
