My iguana is still young, but I have a small bedroom I'd like to use as his home when he gets bigger. It has smooth finished hardwood floors, and nowhere for him to get stuck or hurt. I plan on putting up shelves and trees for him to climb on, have a small pool for him to soak in, and teach him to use a smaller water box for a litter box, heat lamps, all that. Is this a good idea? My one concern is humidity, though it stay warm in humid in that room most of the time. Also, at what point is it good to start letting him use this room as his house. Any advice or ideas are appreciated. Thanks.

There are plenty of keepers who use rooms for their igs. Humidity is the biggest problem. Using large room vaporizers/humidifiers will make all the difference. I wouldn't suggest doing this until your ig is at least 2 years old, though. This will give it size so it won't feel so small and feel the need to hide in so large a place.
Very lucky ig to have it's own room...:-)
And welcome to the IZ...:-D
