For those local (and not).....
that's a signal to check your enclosure temps!
increase airflow (ceiling fan, open windows, etc) to the rooms to help with the ambient temps
dim or switch to lower basking bulbs, if necessary...
ya know the drill. des

Very good point Des.
Time to start paying close attention to these cage temps!
Can be a very dangerous time of year for the Igs.

Thanks for the reminder, Des. I had to make sure I added some extra venting to Gil's enclosure this morning... it was too hot at his basking area.

Okay, here I go again about temperatures. Des, it's sickening to hear about the record highs in California!! Guess what, it's freakin snowing this morning in our wonderful great lakes state. You said something about comparing before Dom, I'll take Jersey anytime. By the way, how do you say that over there? Joysee? Joe

Joseph, just think you are about a 6 hour drive SE of where I grew up with Bob (Traverse City).
I was parked with my front bumper in a snow pile for my HS graduation on the second of June 2001 -- I am marching south right now, this summer will be in St Louis.

Very funny Des, veeerrrryyyy funny. Mark, I'm absolutely jealous. Even though Southern California sounds so much more attractive. Or Florida, or Hawaii, or the Carolinas, or Alabama, or...Oh I could do this 50 times. LOL Joe

Don't be jealous of me now, I am living in Terre Haute IN, the national model of stagnation. Not to mention the trains that pass through here every 30 minutes and the ambient stench of the city.
