I am new here. ;D I love going to iguana forums and reading all I can about them. I have 2 of my own. There is frankie we purchased a year ago Feb and Evan I rescued from a pet store on Long Island. I love my iguanas!! I have learned a lot of information over the internet and am always willing to learn more. These are the web pages I created for my iguanas. I really need to update them though www.geocities.com/crazy4thunderstorms/frankie.htmlwww.geocities.com/crazy4thunderstorms/evan.htmlI also have 2 dogs and 2 cats. I have worked with animals for the last 19 years. Never much with iguanas though. I work for a local veterinarian as an assistant/tech. It is going to be very nice talking to people with the same interest as me. I am not sure how the tags on this forum work so you are going to have to be patient with me.

Hi Lady! Welcome to the Zone! I look forward to sharing experiences. Please don't feel slighted at my lack of response. I've had company here for a little more than a week and it's wearing me down. I need my computer freedom!! ;D I'm in a hurry right now, so I'll have to come back and look at your webpages later. We love pics.....you have any? ;D

Hi and Welcome...I love your web pages..they are great...and no offense to your hubs, but Frankie looks like a girl too...I have 3 girls who reside together wiithout any problems so far...I am not saying that in the future they wont have problems but they have been together now for over 2 yrs and they were not raised together...one is 9 yrs old, one is 7 yrs old and one is 3 yrs old...but of course it is your decision to try your two together...I like your cages too...Have fun....Lyn

Hello there Adirondackiglady!!
Welcome to the Zone. We're sure glad to have you here.
I thoroughly enjoyed your websites. Great stories. When our 4.5yo male Rex was young we debated for 2 years over whether he was male or female. It was only in his first heat that we were absolutely sure! I can sympathize with your hubby. I was desperate for Rex to be a male. However, I have a wife and two boys, so we try hard to keep the gender scale tipped in our favor! ;D
Very interesting story about your rescued Ig. My wife and I, doing the very same thing as you two (passing an out of state pet store and just had to check it out), came across two baby Igs in similar situations as yours. When I asked how much, the owner said, you want them, just take them! He was just waiting for them to die! So we rescued Rocky and Rambo. Rocky was adopted out through GIS shortly after his rescue and we still have our darling Rambo. Now, once again, the gender debate rears its ugly head! LOL
Thanks for stopping in. I look forward to your posts. I think you did a fine job on the cages. They look great!
Regards, Dominick

WELCOME!! Thanks so much for posting the links to your sites. I really enjoyed reading about how you came to be owned by two lovely iguanas.
