Hi everyone,
I have just discovered iguana-zone and wanted to register. I work at a reptile rescue centre, where we mainly have terrapins and iguanas.
Currently I have one iguana, 2 bearded dragons, a redfoot tortoise, 12 spiders, 5 snakes, 2 dogs, and various furries.
It would be cool to talk to other iguana enthusiasts.

Hi Indatree-
Welcome to the Zone. We're glad you joined.
What Reptile Rescue do you work for? Where?
We're always looking for new network possibilities for rescues and adoptions.
Tell us more, please. And happy posting!

Glad to see another body that enjoys the beasties so much. I have a bit of a list, too. My main love is my ig though. Can't wait to see the answers you give Dom. I'd like to know that stuff too... ;D

I work at a small home based rescue in Stoke, we have applied to take over the local city farm, where we take on the small animals and furries but the grazing animals will be moved elsewhere.
Iguanas are my passion, I get to do all the nasty jobs that no one wants to do, especially wwhen the very sick igs come in that need veterinary treatment or assist feeding etc.
I have one iguana that hates my guts, she's called Bindhi, but I'm perservering and trying to get her to tolerate me. The only time that she actually lets me have any hands on contact is when I have a food bowl in my hands. I put this down to the fact that I had to assist feed her with my boss for 10 days.
