Hello all, I'm Kira. I recognize a few of you from other boards, so you may do the same. If not, I'll introduce myself. I live in the far south suburbs of Chicago, am 36 years old and have 4 Green Children. Yes, I am an Igahaulic and I worship the ground(and logs) they walk on. I have two females, Sage who is 7 and Spunks who is 15. And two males, Willow who is 6 and Rex who is 4. I just adopted Rex & Spunks last weekend. You can meet them all here: kiradwyer.com/Igpage.htmlOh, I also have some human children as well. 2 girls, 13 & 15 (yeah, that's fun) and a boy that's 17. Have 2 dogs, 2 cats, 3 big ol' turtles and youngest daughter has a swarm of 5 Guinea Pigs as well. I paint murals for a living, you can see my portfolio here: kiradwyer.com/index.htmlMy other fascination is the renaissance. I love Ren Faire, the music, the clothes, the spirit, everything. And another big part of my life is my favorite band since age 11, Blue Oyster Cult. Seen 'em about 100 times, never get tired of it. Love to travel for shows and we have a wonderful and very close nit online family and we have fantastic fan gatherings. Here's my site for a project I did awhile back, it was loads of fun, the band even participated. bocfanscookbook.com.kiradwyer.com/index.htmlWell, that's all I can think of at the moment, lol. Looking forward to getting to know you guys and this community.

Kira, Welcome to the zone. Not sure which one is more challenging, the Igs or the kids.

Hey Kira...I recognize you're name, too. Welcome to IZ... That window mural is the one I saw first on either Iguana Center of HerpHabitats...I think it was the last one. Really inspiring.

Thanks for the welcome guys. Yup Tesa, they are SO spoiled, lol, but I love every second I devote to them and every ounce of affection I lavish on them. I am so grateful for them, they bring such joy to my heart!

Great pictures! Nice website too. Where abouts do you live? I am from Elgin, which is one of the NW burbs.
Great job on the habitat! Nice paint job! It took my girlfriend and I a solid 12 hours to paint my ig's cage.... yours must have taken quite a bit longer!

Thanks for the compliments on my work, guys. I appreciate it.
Brad, I know exactly where Elgin is, I'm in the far south suburbs. About 25-30 miles straight south of the city, 5 miles west of the Indiana state line in a little town called, Crete.
The paint job that I did in the enclosure was actually a quickie job just to get it done. There's no detail, just sky, branches and simple leaves, lol, I keep meaning to put in more detail, like bugs, a bird or two hanging about, etc, but never seem to get around to it, lol.
