Can these be given to an Iguana? I know that humans can eat them (just not the berries). I have a yardful of these!

These have been said to be mildly toxic to iguanas (spelled pokeweed).

Polk is edible by humans only at certain stages in its growth and only after being boiled and the water poured off. I have seen it growing in horse pens and they wouldn't touch it! I would not feed it
