I hope someone here can help me. I acquired a 2.5 year old iguana. He was staying downstairs but the temps dropped too much for it to be safe for him there, so we had to move him to a warmer spot in the house...the temp in his housing area is now around 80-85 degrees, but he's set up camp in his water bowl and won't hardly move at all. I'm wondering how long before I should be worried that he's not just upset and needs help.

Now! 80-85 degrees is fine for an ambient temperature but they need a basking spot to 95 degrees. Please give us the details of everything you are doing. Diet, lighting, temps where he was formerly as well.

The more info you offer for his set-up the better we can help you get things in order. If his care requirements aren't right he will become sick and almost always die if those are not fixed.
