This is my one and only Iguana her name is green bean. I only recently found out for sure that she is a female. I rescued her from some people at a flea market. She was living in a little plastic cage, had corn cob pieces as substrate and no heat source, and an empty water bowl. I've seen Iguanas in worse shape but she was on her way to becoming a walking skeleton. I rescued and rehabilitated mammals for a local wildlife shelter for several years; I kept everything from raccoons and fawns to even a bat once. I don't do that anymore because the shelter has moved to another city. I wasn't really prepared to take on a reptile; I didn't have any knowledge as far as their care. I learned fast through sites like this, Iguanaden and reading Melissa Kaplan's book. Today she's fat, healthy and happy, and a little mischievous at times. I work from home as an artist so I have time to spend with her, she loves to sit on the back of my desk chair and watch me create. This is when I first got her. Her look out point Profile of an Iggy

Groover, Can you show us some pics of your iguana? If you have a green iguana, she may LOVE eating super worms, but they're very bad for her to be eating. See if you can post some pics here, and we might be able to help you from what we see.

Can you please help me.. hi groover! im from philippines too... just to clarify things i have a few questions... how old is your ig? how long has he been with you? how big is he? it would also be better to post a pic of ur ig so more experience guys here could take a look at him and answer ur questions. maybe what u have there is a red iguana, or a green who probably went red already. or..... based from past exp, are u 100% that its really an iguana? a lot of sellers from philippines would sell sailfin lizards telling potential buyers that they are iguanas. oh, and dont ever feed your iguana anything but greens and vegies/fruits. they may love it but its not good for them.
