haven't been on for a while. ringo is doing well. getting bigger and eating good. vet gave ringo a clean bill of health after a test saying she had no more internal bugs. i handle ringo everyday. sometimes agian after lights out. ringo always scrambles a little bit when i first get him out but calms down pretty quick. today though every time i touched him or went to scratch him. he opened his mouth really wide. after holding for about five to ten minutes he settled again and started just flicking his tongue and hanging out. is that normal? i also just moved him into a bigger cage that i built three days ago. any tips or suggestions are always welcome. thanks in advance

What did you make your cage out of, and what size? Would love to see pics of the new cage. And yes that is normal behavior. Im glad to hear he has a clean bill of health.

plywood. 2x4's. wire fencing. the entire cage is 6' x 6' and 4' deep. but right now its sectioned off into a smaller 2' tall section. got two perches for him net to climb on as well as the wire door. some plastic plants a log and a rock to hide in. and i have two 100 w mega ray bulbs over his perches. a humidifier which comes on ever few hours for an hour to keep the moister up as well as misting him once or twice a day. i also have a space heater in my room to keep it warmer since my room gets way too cold. pictures will come.
