i can't find my baby iguana! he escaped sometime between me leaving for school at seven thirty this morning and getting home at four this afternoon. i don't know how he gets out he has done it only twice before and he always spreads his escape out. i cannot find him in my room. but there are ample spaces to hide. i've been tearing it apart for a while now. the last time he got out we found him right around the cage hiding in a nook. he is still pretty small. any suggestions? i'm leaving the cage open now and there is food up in it.
please help

found him! silly lizard i must have looked in that spot 20 times. then i was laying in the middle of my floor out of frustration and i heard scratching. And sure enough there he was. also close inspection of the enclosure and i found the large foolish gap inbetween the wall and the floor that i never screwed together. i'm an idiot. but problem fixed and careful inspection of the cage and it is now locked down. man this afternoon sucked but i'm glad to have ringo back!

I am so sorry I dont know how anyone missed this post! I am so glad you found him. Yes make sure he is on lock down. Bad things can happen when they are that little and hiding.

It is frustrating! We lost a baby that got loose quite awhile back, he hid in my kids bedroom and my husband finally found him the next morning not a good find. Still makes me sad. Im glad you secured his escape route.
