I am almost positive my 15 yr old female iguana has Hyperthyroidism. She has become lethargic, not eating, and will convulse for about 10 seconds every now and then. My research and calls to the vets tell me this is the problem. Research tells me this is easily treatable by changing diet. I cannot afford to take to vet. Does anyone know how I can treat this myself and/or which foods can help with this?
