So it has been a few months since I last posted about the condition of my new iguana's swollen foot. I just thought I'd give an update. He/she is not so new anymore, I have tried to take really good care of that swollen foot. In the end, I believe it was broken, but it seems to have healed nicely. He/she is about 6-7 months old now and has full use of that foot and the toe that seemed in bad shape. I have used a vitamin spray on the food with extra calcium as well as lots of collard greens for calcium. I have heard that too much calcium can be bad, so I think I will cut back a little on the supplement.
Oh, and my girlfriend and I have finally decided on a name... P'pyo'p... or maybe Pipiopi (we aren's sure how to spell it). We pronounce it Pee-Pee-Oh-Pee. We got it from that scene in the movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall where Peter gets a hawaiian name (P'pyo'p - or some other spelling). Haha

Forget about the spray. Its mostly water and you have no way of knowing how much vitamn is actually on the food. Go powders.
