I just did a fecal exam on my ig Ursula (~2yrs old spayed female) because she's been eating poorly, acting discontent, and her skin is perpetually dark. I found pinworms (not surprising) and a ton of cryptosporidium.
My vet is just as stumped as I am on how to treat crypto in iguanas. I guess it's pretty common in snakes, but not often a problem in igs. Does anyone have any idea on treatment? Anyone with crypto experience?
Thanks!
