Does anyone have any experience with a newborn baby with an iguana at home where there have never been any children?

It took my iguana red 7month before he got used to my lil girl. Red used to spaze out when my baby cried, jumping around the cage and even turning dark for long periods. He lighten up only when i moved his cage down stairs. At the lower level of the house Red could no longer hear or see my baby anymore. his color went back to normal and he stoped spazing out. You can introduce the iguana to your newborn presence alittle at a time. Make sure your Iguana is doing something it enjoys. For example: I alway put my Iguana by the window everyday to sun bath. while Red was sunbathing i would bring my lil girl in the room and feed her. That was me getting my Iguana use to her presence. Now my Iguana will even walk up close to my baby instead of running away. make sure u never leave your iguana lose near your baby unattended. do not let your "newborn" touch the iguana for safty and hygienic reasons
