I have never heard of an iguana throwing up its food but they do occasionally puff out their eyes. My iguana sometimes puffs out her eyes when she is napping or when she gets stressed out (like from loud noises). Your little guy probably isn't feeling well if he is throwing up his food and thus puffs out his eyes because of stress or discomfort. I don't know what the color changes mean but I would definitely recommend bringing his to a vet and getting him checked out.

Hey, greenrex, sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. To answer your question; it really depends on the vet. I would check out the phone book and call around for a quote. Not all vets are equal and some definitely know reptiles better than others; ask if they have a reptile specialist.
