I'm very glad you did. I went to the GIS link, and found a recommended vet not too far from me. The one I've used locally hasn't impressed me too much.
He didn't suggest doing blood work or having annual exams. Now that I know more about various dangers, from MBD to Metastatic Mineralization, I realize that blood work is essential for monitoring an ig's health.
I figure that 60 miles is nothing when it comes to Gil's health.
Debbie... thank you for your post about annual exams for your igs. That's what really got me thinking it was a necessary thing.
