Well this morning my grandparents came over and they gave me a navy blue knitted skullcap. It has a large red stripe with a smaller white stripe on either side of the red one. I had Orko out and put the hat on, when I reached for him he puffed up more so than I have ever seen. He even opened his mouth about 1mm. His eyes never left the hat on my head, he then whipped me as hard as he could. I took the hat off and showed it to him and he whipped it and my hand again. Later on that day I wanted to show my friend his wierd behavior, when I showed Orko the hat he licked it didn't give it a second glance. I guess he was just grumpy in the morning?

Well, doesn't take an Ig Scientist to determine the cause of that behavior.

Igs are very funny that way. Rex, who is generally docile and calm, would tear you up if you got caught holding a Kraft Macaroni and Cheese box! He just hates it so much, he gets vicious. If you leave it by him he'll spend all afternoon charging, biting and tearing it up!

I LMAO everytime. I don't know what the poor box did to him, but he genuinely hates it!

So, maybe ditch the scull-cap around Orko?

Gil freaks at the cat. If I want to get him out, and he's at a place in the enclosure where I can't reach, I go get the cat and put her on the floor in front of the enc. where I can reach Gil. It never fails... he'll charge at her, and I can reach in and get him out. Sometimes you just gotta use that silly ig behavior to your advantage!

I'm just not sure how you can use mac n cheese box or skull cap aggression! lol
