Today when I got home from work, I got Gil out of his enclosure like usual. He really wanted to be by the cat, so I put him down next to her on the couch. Usually she runs away because he bobs at her, and she's learned that's a bad sign. Today he walked up to her and put his head on her side. I was surprised she let him do this, but apparently he was giving off a different "vibe" today. He scooted closer and closer, and suddenly the cat lets out a frightened "meow," and runs off. I look at Gil and he's got orange fur sticking out of his mouth! Needless to say, the kitty didn't appreciate him trying to use her as a "luv sock."

No she doesn't! I put him down today, and he took off after her... she let out a loud meow and ran as fast as she could! Poor, poor kitty!

LMAO! Another reason fuzzy pets and scaly ones don't always get along.

Bailey used to get along fine with our old cat, Favor (who has since passed away), but he *hates* our new cat, Milo. Here's how Bailey and Favor used to nap together... But Bailey was raised with Favor and thought she was just some kind of weird, mutant iguana... --Roc

That's SO sweet! I love to see pics of igs and kitties getting along.
Essie doesn't trust Gil at all, and even if he changed his "evil" ways, she would NEVER cuddle with him!

LOL poor cat, at least when dogs chase em they can climb a tree! What chance have they got with igs!
Aw I like pictures of igs with other animals, Ive seen a few clinging to dogs backs while they wander around the house! Its so sweet! ;D You see alot in reptile houses where they have tortoises in the same enclosure and the igs seem to like to ride on their backs, its very funny. Although they dont go very fast.
