Today Raz went up to the glass for the first time and tried to climb it. When I opened it, he poked his snout out and flicked his tongue around. When I put my hand there, he looked at it cautiously and climbed back up. The second time he came down, I did the same thing, and this time he placed his two front legs on the back of my hand, then slowly climbed up it, and onto my shirt. I think he musta been wondering why it was moving in and out so fast (rapid heartbeat when I get excited). I guess I could safely say he is well aclimated by now. Though from time to time he will try evading, but not as often.
I guess he's feeling more exploratory now. ;D.

That's cool!
My hubby told me the other day: "I have Gil trained. Whenever I get home, I open his cage, and he walks over and climbs the glass to be let out."
I told him: "hunny, you're the one who's trained. Gil sees you drive up and says to himself, 'here's that guy I trained to get me out.'"
;D

I don't think you can have a pet without getting trained to some extent, and igs are great human trainers.
I can't walk into my room anymore with a piece of fruit without giving some to Bob. Seeing how I eat four to six pieces of fruit a day I have started making him do "tricks" for it. Right now he has to climb up to my shoulder for a bite of it -- which means I have to wear a long sleeve shirt to eat an orange.
Try using a small treat like fruit, a dandilion flower, or bread to entice Raz. But be careful that you don't train him to only eat out of your hand -- I am forcing Bob to break that habit, again.
