How long after the female stops eating, stops having normal poops, and starts acting squirrely, does a female lay her eggs? Last year, I know that Mary held onto her eggs a lot longer than she should have because we were clueless as to her condition... now she is showing all the same signs again. Do we build her an egging box right now?

Replying to comments from another gravid thread...
"(Is she trying to "dig a nest" in her enclosure? scratching at the door to get out? acting restless? acting lethargic? eating at all? propping herself up on her "elbows" to relieve pressure on her belly?)"
YES! To all of the above, YES!

Mary is still in the closet with the nesting box. She digs like mad just about every day, but she is still eating and drinking fairly normally. She's very affectionate, unlike the rest of the year when she isn't gravid, but she isn't nearly as fat as she was last year when she laid her eggs.
I think we may have another week or two of gestation before she's ready to lay... so she's going to have to stay in the closet. We have a reptisun in there with her, and we scoop all the dirt back into the box every day, so at this point I think it's all about playing the waiting game.
