Welcome. The food guide is amazing you should check it out. I used it today to buy all of Turbo's food when I got off work. I chopped it all up and he ate it like it was going out of style.

I hope your iguana gets better buddy. I can't believe how green he is. Just out of curiosity, how old is he?

Ya and it's not very expensive in the produce for all those veggies. I think the most expensive was the 3 peppers. $15 for everything. 8 different things. I chopped them all up and fed him this morning and he loved it, especially the peppers

Ya I'm going to get some couch covers today. He seems to not mind the bright red for now, but I will put some covers on it anyways

Question for you. What is the easiest way to clip their nails. I did Turbo's today but it's hard to get the small ones. If they had thumbs that would be the one I can't get to

So I got home from work today and put an a green shirt to lounge around in. After an hour I decided to turn Turbos light on and get him out and feed him. Everything was good it only took a second to get him out. After a minute or so he started to go up my arm like he always does, but for some reason he snapped at the end of my green sleeve. He wasn't pissed off or anything like that. I believe he thought my sleeve was food lol. In the future I won't be wearing a green shirt when it's breakfast time

That's awesome that she just sprawled out like that when you put her in her new home. Right now Turbo is in the living room. Do you think it would be better if I put him in my walk in closet. There is a light in there and the whole works. He doesn't seem to mind being in the living room

Where did you put the heat packs at? Under or around where your iguana lives? Just curious to where. I'm going to pick some up today now that you mentioned that. It's always good to have a back up plan.

Just got back from the vet, he said it's a fungus of some sort. He gave me some cream to put on it. It was his first visit, the vet said he is in good health and that the fungus should go away within two weeks. Here is a full picture of him. Right now he is in a 75 gal tank, but I'm getting ready to get all the stuff to build him a big palace. Since he is only 1.5 years or so he isn't that long so that tank fits him perfect right now. He has a lot of space to play in. I figure within a month or two I can have all the stuff needed to build his fortress. Right now his light is a 10.0 UVB 40 watt and I have a heating lamp as well I think it's 100W. Also I have a heating pad that I don't use, because I don't feel as if it gets the job done right. The guy at the pet shop insisted me on buying it instead of the heat lamp. When I got home I noticed that it doesn't get very hot so I just went back and got the heat lamp. Hope you all like the picture of him. He is very laid back, today at the vet is the first day I saw him whip his tail, I was surprised by how long it took him to whip it. The vet was handling him and everything and I could tell he was pissed, it took a couple minutes for him to whip it. Attachments:

Not to sure what it is, either way I'm going to take him to the vet today or tomorrow. I'm not sure what it is, but it feels like a scab when I touch it. He doesn't mind when I touch it either. If anyone knows what it might be let me know please :/ Attachments:
