hi, my iguana bit my g/friend today, just a wee nip when she was hand feeding him, he didnt mean it though, her finger was bleeding so i was wondering if there should be any action taken to the cut itself i.e you get bit by a dog and you have to get tetnis, is there anything i should know about dealing with iguana bites?
help is much appreciated.

Just the usual things you do when you get a cut should be just fine for an iguana bite. Their mouths are actually fairly clean, so just do the usual disinfection and put a bandaid on it. If its fairly deep and near the fingertip, a little super glue works great at keeping it closed so it'll heal.
