Hi Ursula-
I don't recognize the actual names of the products, but I suspect one is prepared Iguana pellet food and the other is a vitamin supplement.
When my Igs were young I too added pelletized food to their diet as a "safety" measure. But, I've since learned that a carefully prepared diet in the right ratios does the trick without the added expense of prepared food. Can't hurt though.
The vitamin supplement is also something I did and do to this day. Again, if the diet is proper, they don't need the "extra" vitamins, but, like you, it makes me feel good! ;D
Just be careful about the amount and frequency of the extra vitamins. There is such a thing as Vitamintosis, and overdose of vitamins that IS harmful.
UVB and/or natural sunlight at the proper levels and food in the proper C : PH ratios will prevent MBD and keep your Ig healthy. All the other "stuff" makes us feel good and isn't really necessary.

I don't recognize either of those brands either....maybe because I've never used anything other than a calcium supplement. The root cause of MBD is calcium deficiency, usually caused by a combination of too little calcium in the diet and not enough UVB for the ig to process the calcium. As Dom said, if you are giving him a diet of fresh greens and vegetables, there really is no need to worry. (Thrasher's greens are about 75% collards and 25% other. Collards have that wonderful 14:1 calcium to Phosphorus level.) If Spryo has good food and UVB lighting, he should be just fine.
