Are carrots bottom toxic to iguanas i know that the tops are my iguanas love them

By carot bottoms I assume you mean the root part that we eat ourselves. Carrots are ok as an every once in a while food, not as a staple in the diet.

I agree with Merlin. It's a pretty well known "minimal food". Other foods that are much better and can be added to the diet every day are:
Sweet Potato Acorn Squash Butternut Squash Pumpkin
All of these can be fed with the peel on. There are a lot of vitamins in the skin that are wasted when WE eat them because of the flavor, texture. Igs CAN eat this part and benefit greatly. Just feed them one at a time.

Oh Veronica... I wish I had read this sooner! I've wasted SO much time peeling butternut and acorn squash! And acorn squash SUCK to peel!
