Bok Choy has a decent calcium to Phosphorus ratio, but it is high in goitrogens. Goitrogens inhibit the body's use of iodine; excessive quantities will cause problems with the thyroid function. It can be used as an occasional food item. My personal definition of occasional is that I would ony buy it once a month or so and mix it with the other stapel food items.
