Since about a week and a half ago, my Ig has refused hand feeding. He's eating really well, but he used to accept treats from my hand, which is a nice bonding thing, if not helpful for nutrition, but now he just closes his eyes when I hand him some food. After a while I give up.
I know I should show him who's boss. But what should I do? Stand there for hours until he eats it? Open his mouth somehow and put it in?
Please advise. I want him to eat most food himself but accept some food from me occasionally.

When it comes to feeding...there's no need to force a hand feeding session. If he doesn't want it...well...he doesn't want it. It's just a faze and he may start back up again...

My igs both do this sometimes too. It usually just means that they're not hungry at the moment.

Iguanaking, but it NEVER eats off my hand anymore. He closes eyes when I put my hand near them. I guess they were a little scared now than before.

Tony, My Ig, Lothar, used to eat from my hand constantly. Now I'm lucky if he'll accept it once a week. I guess it's like a child growing up and not wanting to be kissed by a parent in public. "Hey dad, I'm old enough to feed myself." I just have to get used to it. now when he closes his eyes, I pet him. He's so used to that now, he just about leans right off his shelf when he sees my hand coming. He has turned into quite the baby lately.
