I just moved to a small town and there isn't a store in town that sells collard or mustard greens which have been my Iguanas main diet since I've had them - I have to drive 40 miles to the next big city over to find collard and mustard greens so in between when I run out of greens I've been feeding them lots of green beans and carrots, is this a proper diet? Oh and does freezing collards/mustards and thawing them the night before work for feeding? Because then I can just stock up on them when I'm in the city.

Sorry but no. Carrots are an only every once in a while food anyway. Parsnips are better, as is orange skinned squash and sweet potato. However you need to find a source of the greens. And freezing them will turn them into so much green goo that your ig will most likely turn his nose up at! Where are you located? Most communities where there is a black, hispanic, or Portugese population will have a store that will carry them. If not talk to the produce manager about ordering them.

Hmmm didn't know that about carrots - got the idea to feed those because all I ever saw in the Iguana dish at the pet store was cut up carrots and adult iguana food. I think I can get parsnips from in town and maybe the others you mentioned though mostly here they have assorted types of lettuce and common salad ingredients for leafy greens. Are there any other common veggies iguanas can eat a lot of that you can think of? Oh and I moved to this small town called Munising, Michigan where i don't think there is a foreign food market(mostly white people live here, I've seen like 2 black people drive by but they could have just been passing through and the only other foreign people I know of are the people that run the chinese restaraunt) I've been making 40ish miles drives to a large city called marquette for greens but doing that every couple days isn't exactly a practical thing.
