Hi Folks- Thought I'd share some pics of my friends with you. Of course, most of us here know Darry. She's such a sweetheart, took me on an Iguana whirl-wind tour in NC and provided an incredible hands-on Iguana education for me! Also, I had the distinct pleasure (and honor, I might add) to meet Mr. Bob MacCargar, Bob Mac to those who know him. He is actively involved in many types of UV related studies, too numerous to even mention here. He has a handle on UVR that few can hold a candle too. Not to mention he is an amazing Iguana Rehabber! We had incredible conversations, I listened mostly, LOL. Their knowledge astounds me even today. So, just thought I'd share some of the fun I had in NC, while I wait for my beloved Rexy to come home.

Dominick, glad you enjoyed your trip to NC. I'm so grateful to you for busting butt for 18 hrs a day to help us with the big reptile show. I would have been a total basket case without your help, support, and freindship. I think the attendance was over 14,000 people for the weekend. That's a lot of talking to a lot of people..and hopefully a lot of iggy lives saved.
Also glad you finally got to meet our rehabber buddy, Bobmac. There's so much to learn from him.
You know the next reptile show is Labor Day weend. You need to pack up your family and come on down again. If there are any other folks in the NC area, get in touch with me if you would like to come and help out next time. We had about 25 volunteers over the 2 days, but we kept everybody busy, and always can use more help.
