OK I KNow where to buy the actual UVB lightbulb but does anyone know where i can buy the thing to put the lightbulb in?

Hardware stores or even walmart has them. (ask for fluorescent light fixtures) Just make sure you get a tube and a fixture that match sizes.  |

The 4' fixtures only cost about $8 at Wal-Mart!

If you buy one that has a lens to protect the bulb... DON'T USE IT! It will wind up just filtering out all the UVB.

Petco or PetsMart has them (the ones that go over the fish tanks) but they are expensive, I got a 3 ft one for $50! Id go with walmart or some store like that. I got lucky and got 2 heavy duty 4 1/2 ft ones for free that were used in an office i guess. Id definitly shop around thou cause those pet stores will try to rip you off when you could go to walmart and get it for less than half the price prolly.

Most fixtures that have light guards are removable. Just remove the guard and you're set. The one I have didn't come with one to begin. You can see it in the "Supply Images" section.
