I finally got my thermometer back! It was easy, just had to make her an iggy sized bed, with mattress, mattress covers, and matching pillow ;D
One problem...as I was unattaching the silly thing, it fell in her poop water, which of course she had just used! (I don't want it back NOW!)
Oh well.....

geeeez! I don't sew. Needles are for removing splinters. All poor Thrasher has for a pillow is a pair of rolled up socks (but she is VERY attached to them) ;D

We tried making Zok a pillow and she went totally ballistic. You'd have thought it was a predator or something. I was afraid she was going to hurt herself the way she freaked out! We finally had to remove it so she would come back up on her shelf!

I was with you until recently Tesa. A woodworker that hated working with fabric, then I saw how well sewn things work for iguanas.
Bob has never taken to pillows or luvsoxs but loves the new hammock/shelves I made.

I tried the rolled up socks, Tesa. Kyo looked at me like I was nuts and pushed them off the shelf. She LOVES pillows, folded blankets, anything soft. She has her iggy basking bed, and when she comes down to honor us with her company, she has a thick pillow that she likes to sit on and watch tv.
And yeah, she kinda freaked when we put the new bed in. But it only took her about 15 minutes to figure out what it was for ;D

Zok wouldn't go back to her basking shelf for 3 days. we have tried a couple of times to replace it but she isn't having any of it!

Speaking of freaking out...I just introduced Kyo to day lillies You'd think they were trying to eat her or something! She gave me the lateral, dewlap extended, hatchet view and everything! She then stalked the petals for about 20 minutes before deciding that she could eat THEM, not the other way around!

Shortly after I post saying that Bob does not like pillows this is what I find. He loves this thing. Heck, when I go to pick him up it comes with him as he clings to it. He both sleeps and basks on it.
