Ok guys , i took him to the vet (thanks prism wolf and tesa)
He has got an infection. Hes been given a 100ml shot of baytril, and will do every 48 hours.
He needs bathing every 24 hours, in pevadine(iodine basically) and then an antibiotic cream applied.
He said the tip of his tial may fall off, which is ok as he will still be a handsome fella. just hope it doesnt spread and the antibiotics get it sorted.
Opinions / Comments please? whats the succes rate of suck illness ?
Vet sais its quite common.

I'm really glad you took him to the vet, and proud of ya for doing it so quickly! Ive heard of 3-4 igs having this type of infection (but never saw them) so I suppose it would be rather common. I have no personal experience with it tho, so I can't offer an educated opinion. Just follow the docs treatement plan. I think everything will be ok.

I'm with Tesa. I've dealt with dry gangrene, but not a "regular" infection that could be treated with antibiotics. You did good...

With the antibiotics i am sure the ig will be fine. These animals are amazing in what they can survive. Look what they have to deal with in our hands!
