Does anyone's iggy have a music preference? We have found that Kyo loves bluegrass/southern gospel/folksy stuff, and hates Ozzy Osborne!
When we put on the soundtrack for "O Brother Where Art Thou?" (alot of gospel and bluegrass) she comes over and lays on a speaker!

Tesa,
The funny part is that my ancestral manse is also underwater! (when the TVA flooded that part of TN) And my granddad was BONAFIDE! (they could have based the role of Everett on him! lol)
Kling, Kyo likes some country too. More the old slow ballad type stuff tho. ie: I fall to pieces; green, green grass of home, etc.

Bob has little say in what is played but I am sure that he likes something that I listen to.
Talk / pops / classical / jazz / celtic / classic rock / blues...
Bob and XM radio are about the only luxeries that I justify the cost of right now (I even backed down to drinking cheap storebrand canned coffee)

I have had my neighbors walk over and request Jethro Tull one night. No complaints just song requests.

Oh boy,
Mark and Merlin, you both sound like our house (no pun intended). We range from southern gospel to Limp Bizkit and Korn (with a little Tull thrown in everynow and then) lol.
And Mark, we drink store brand coffee too! About the only thing we splurge on name brand wise is Pepsi. Gotta have my diet Pepsi.

Off button? Do they make those for KIDS?
I have switched over to the contemporary Christian music channel on TV a few times recently, but Thrasher didn't seem to notice.

Telling them to go outside and PLAY works nicely! Or cover the walls with velcro and put the kids in fuzzy jammies! Just pick em up and stick em where you want them to stay!

At this point in Gil's life he doesn't care about music... he's s \till in breading season I, however, like contemporary Christian too (Jars of Clay are my faves), classic rock, hard rock or even metal; with an occasional dose of Pantera for good (or bad) measure. Classical, jazz, R & B are great too depending on the mood. But never, ever, ever Country! So I'm sure Gil hates Country too!

Steph! Our tastes run hand in hand! My favorite song right now is Newsboys tho......Kissing your cares away. Me too! But Im a little concerned with the fact that I REALLY like "Who am I?" by Casting Crowns.......it's awfully close to country! ;D
