Hello all, Just wanted to inform you all of my new potential adoption. We have an adoption/rescue center in St. Paul (only about 45 min away), that i found. I was researching it, and found a couple potential ig's that I would love to take in. They require you submit an application for review, and today I got the email of acceptance! Now it's time to build a cage that will be suitable for him/her, as they will do a home inspection. They seem to really care about the well being of them, and it's incredibly awesome One of the two that I am looking at is named Tarzan. Apparently he has a growth stunt due to malnutrition and inproper housing in the past. He looks a little thin, but they say that he loves to eat! The other ones name is Galen. He came to them w/ sever oral and digital problems, but has appeared to recover quite well. You may check them out at www.kingsnake.com/irn/ Wish me luck on the next step in cage building!

Both are very handsome fellows! Are you thinking of taking both? Like Tesa said, it would be so hard to choose!

It's gonna be hard, but I think I am gonna go down to the adoption center and spend some time w/ both of them. Hopefully it will be easier to pick the right one. I would love to take both, all if I could, but i just don't have the room right now. I am sharing an apartment with a friend, along with fish, bird, and a kitten. We actually took one of the front closets doors off and are going to put the cage, possibly. When I get my own house, hopefully next year, I would love to expand and get more than one. But for right now, I think one will be good enough.

Good for you for adopting. It would be really better starting out to just have the one iguana. They CAN be a handful to deal with. once you have a little more igsperience under your belt and you decice that you have the capability of dealing (and housing) with more then one then go for it
