We have had to separate the leopard geckos. One is picking on the other.
Would it be ok to keep one gecko in the same room as Kyo? Separate enclosures, of course, but they would be able to see each other occasionally (the gecko is nocturnal).

I don't see any reason why NOT to. I have 3 species in one room and have no problems. (unless I wait too long to feed Thrasher, at which time she makes her way over to the Uromastx's house and peers inside to see if HE has any food she can steal) ;D

Kyo seems to get a little put out when we pay attention to the gecko. I guess that he is so used to being the center of attention, that he gets a little jealous.
Other than that, no problems so far...

After igs...many things are easy to care for!
I have 5 different exotic species (well...ferrets aren't exotic, but we'll pretend for the sake of example) in one room with Zair being the largest space user of them all.
The ferrets, parrots, tarantula and snake all get along fine in pretty close quarters. Not that any of them are out when any of the others are, except the snake which is held the whole time, but the ferrets sleep 20 hours a day, so early am and later pm they play...birds and ig are put up...when ig is out...heads straight for the tub...birds watch him walk by...ferrets are asleep, which is good because they will try to kill him...the ferrets would win. The birds are out...ferrets are asleep...again...good...they will kill the birds...and Zair is either in the tub or in his enclosure while the birds play. The tarantula stays in the aquarium all the time. Oh!! And the cats are very respectful of the ig...have been educated by the demon ferrets (one in particular...GO Aarron!) and are completely supervised with the birds being out.
The dogs just watch it all go by.

We have a bearded dragon that is frequently given outside run around time. If Zok can see him she just lays on her shelf and watches him. The dragon on the other hand will often puff up and act like Mr Big Stuff. Not that Zok is in the least impressed!

I whole heartedly agree! After having an ig, leop. geckos are a breeze!
There are the sweetest things! Our two both love attention, actually want to be handled and will walk onto your hand. My 8 year old daughter adores hers and is able to care for it herself (after getting over the "eeww, live bugs" stage). I still get to clean the aquariums tho, lol.
