You are just so creative, Mark. I love the remodelled look. You could go into business with these things. Seriously! Just think about how many people would love to go places with their igs, but because of housing restraints they can't. This gives them the alternative.

Awesome, Mark! Lucky, lucky Bob. I love your chair in there! Can I assume from prism's post that Bob's enclosure is portable? What a marketable idea!!

Did I mention that the thing is wired for XM radio and has a 4.1 speaker system in it?
It is relativly protable. Takes about an hour to set up or take down and can be carried (sans iguana) by one person in one trip. With exception of the PVC and light board this whole cage will fit into a single plastic grocery bag.
That red cloth is a curtain that covers the area Bob nomally sleeps in from the room's overhead light which is usually on until 1:30 am or so.
Look closely at the ramps and you will see that they are also fabric and pvc, the X pattern on them is an edge beading that allows cliped nails to grab hold of the surface.
I just have to play with the lighting a little. I am going to move the HE to the back wall over the basking shelf and angle it down. This way I create a the warm spot in the same place as the bright basking spot, center of the basking shelf.
I am continually redesigning the inside of this thing. All of interior hangs from the top and all of the zippers are the same size so I have a lot of freedom to move things around as the need arises.

Mark it looks great. One thing struck me though. In the last picture it looks like Bob is in a tent. All you need is crickets chirping and he can play like he's camping out!

Merlin wins for being the first one to see where I got my inspiration for this general design.

Hi Mark- Great set-up. Your tent-enclosure is evolving nicely! Now, you should go for the patent before others do. One thing I noticed, I'm concerned about the proximity of the UVB lamp to the chair and computer area. It seems it is shining toward the area, if I put the pics together correctly. You may be turning the UVB Lamp off (I'm hoping) before you sit and type, if not, please do. MV UVB lamps are important tools for Iguana care, but TOOLS none the less, and need to be treated as such. Unnecessary exposure to them is the equivalent to sun-exposure and should be avoided. Again, I know you know this already, but the word of caution should be clearly stated. Bob looks happy!

Yup Dom, though about that and have rearranged my footlocker and chair over the weekend. It was not too bad as I was over a meter off its main axis and about 2 meters from the surface but still... Thanks though

LOL! It might be because I spend so much time in tents myself!

That looks awesome, frankly. Is there any chance of getting some directions on assembly of something along these lines? (Materials used, etc?)
