I talked to Mark about making a cage for me, and he said he would do it. His cages are awsome ;D

Well I've been wondering do the cages have a screen side on them or what? How would they breath if it is all plastic?

Only the front and bottom is plastic. There is plenty of air flow through this thing, I am able to sit in here for hours with the door mostly zipped closed.
Why have I seen this question many times about my cage but never about keeping an animal in a fish tank?

Ok so if only the front and bottom are plastic then what are the sides and back? It looks like plastic or fabric to me but it cant be plastic and I dont think fabric would be able to hold in an ig. Would it?

100% cotton fabric, you would be surprised at how strong this stuff is. The weak point of the cage is actually the plastic portion. The weave is tight enough that ig claws, when trimmed to the point where you don't bleed when handling him, can't grip it to start a hole. My current design is a two ply wall so if a hole does start -- which has not happend in two years of use and 8 multi-state moves -- there is a second layer to stop an escape.

Hey Mark ..
I believe you get this question regarding " How can the Ig Brethe because people arent thinking it through ....
To clear things up...
The fabric is pourous by design ...it is not "air tight" plus the dimension are quite large ..there is no way a Iggy would sufacate in this type of enclosure ..This is a amazing and ingenious design especially due to the portability ...I just love it.
You are right Mark ....a fish tank is probably the worst for providing fresh air... even with my enclosure that has 3 glass sides I had to pay extra attention and provide 2 large vents to ensure enough air flow was provided.

;D Hey Mark .. I believe you get this question regarding " How can the Ig Brethe" because people arent thinking it through .... It is not because I was not thinking it through.(dont know about any one else asking though) I just was not sure what the sides were made of. I was pretty sure the sides were not plastic but thats what they looked like. And ya I get the fish tank thing. My friend used to have a hamster in one with the top covered. Hamster was not too healthy.
