Well, we have a great weekend here in Iowa and Jenna just graduated from ISU and we have some free time. We started painting the cage around 1pm and are still going strong! We will see what we can accomplish today.
Progress pics and more info as we get further!

Congrats on the grad!...What type of painting are you doing? I would love to see a leafy type thing in that beautiful home you built moe. I was hoping to re-finish my coffee table this weekend but due to rain, I've had to put it off until maybe next weekend. I plan to be building new homes for my gecko beasties soon...Getting some reno stores gift cards for my b-day coming up so, I'm all anxious to get to work. Can't wait to see your completed masterpiece.

All is said and done with moe's cage. Here are the progress and final pics. Jenna setting up in the park next door to our apartment. At one point I think we had 8 kids looking and asking questions about Moe as he was sunbathing in his outdoor cage. The background went real quick. We moved indoors to avoid the hord of kids that were keeping us from getting the cage finished. Some detail work. Time for the flowers! Assembly.... I hate this part! All put back together and Moe was trying to climb the trees that we had painted! Happy to be back in his cage! Overall shot. A better overall shot. Let me know what you think!

Can we say OMG!! That is amazing! You two have done a fantastic job! You could start a side business doing custom cages like that...and make a good profit! You know...you could even offer to do much more basic set-ups and do well. Wow...I am taken back!

Thanks for the compliments guys! I passed them all on to Jenna. I wouldnt mind making these as a side project, but with the time and materials that I have in this cage I would have to charge about $1500-$2000 to have it be worth my while! :0 PS here is a size comparison pic if you dont know how large this cage is....

I would pay you $1500 to make one of those for me... Shoot - I would pay to have a COUPLE of those (snakes, lizards, tortoises - with your talent, our crew would be in heaven!)
