I know you are a good daddy! Snoop is gonna grow up to be very strong and handsome!! We have to talk a bit about his current house. I think I see wood chips in the bottom of his cage. You need to remove those. You know how he flicks his tongue out alot? He can accidentally eat that wood:( it can get stuck in his stomach and kill him. The cheapest and easiest thing to use is newspaper. Next, I see the light you use for heat, but I don't see a UVB light. He needs the UVB so his body can use the calcium he gets from his food. Without it, he will develop a deadly disease called MBD. (Metabolic Bone Disease) Here are a couple of links so you can see what kind of light I am talking about. If you need help with finding the right kind, contact me on Yahoo and I'll try to help. www.petsmart.com/reptile___amphibian/shopping/lighting___heating/lighting___light_strips/products/product_18841.shtmlhome.comcast.net/~holachapulin/Research.html

Hi Rod-
Nice job on the cage. Should be ggod for another few months! LOL.
Thanks for all the great pics. What a little cutie s/he is. It's hard to remember Rex being that small, but he was.
If you are truly gonna set the Ig up for free-roaming (Rex is a free-roamer), then start reading up on the requirements. You'll need to set up a wall-less cage similar to the basking spot.
Good luck!
