Hi Lyn-
I tell you, we've had him for 5+ years now and I can't even remember life without him. He's such a great Ig. We love him to no end! More than the kids even! LOL

Dominick...your green boy is a MONSTER! Did you have him from a baby? He's gotta be older than 5+ yrs at that size...or he's a mutant!

Hi Veronica-
We've had Rex since he was 6 months old or so. He grew to be a big male, but when we lost him for a week outside, he grew to gigantic proportions!
During the winter he actually gets smaller. Now that spring is in the air, he's starting to bulk back up once again. Hence, the reason to take some pics.
In another month, he'll be back up to huge proportions. He's such a gentle male too. He pretty much let's anyone pet him and handle him.
When he basks in his Cherry Tree during the summer months, the kids play soccer in the yard and he loves just sitting there watching them, waiting for the perfect opportunity to drop a load on one of the kids heads! LMAO! It's happened often enough now that the kids will yell a warning to each other if they happen to be under the tree and not paying attention to what rex is doing!
He was so excited to be outside yesterday, even if it was only for 5 minutes. He walked around the yard, looking for his clover patch, checking out his territory. Then he walked to the back door and came back in.
We sooooo can't wait for Spring!

Hey Dominick... I don't think Rex was "giving Mom the tongue" as you put it. Check out the look on his face. He's sticking his tongue out at YOU and giving you the ig eye. I think he's saying, "Ha Ha... she likes me better than you!" Better keep a close eye on him, or he'll move in on your territory! lol

Why thank you all for the kind compliments.
They're not really my family members. Just some folks I hired to fill in. My family members are all too mean and ugly to be in pics with beautiful Iguanas. ;D
