What a candy. Sorry, but that artifitial grass on the floor is danger.I read, that small pieces of it in many cases could coused intestinal problems or death if he eats it. Sorry i dont want to be rude, but throw this thing away.

Good warning Ursula. It can pose a hazard. I have this stuff. Mine is from the home decorating store. I use duct tape to keep the edges from unraveling. The only place I have it now is on the shelves. When I used the repticarpet it was taken out every day for cleaning and could see loose ends and take them off as needed. This got to be a hassle. I still like newspaper best and use it in all the cages now for ease in cleaning. Just roll it up and throw it out. I even have a friend who saves her newspapers for me... With 3 ig cages and a ferret cage with 5 fuzzies...the macaw and a snake who use the stuff, I go through it pretty quickly. Raz is a great looking ig RaptonX! She/He'll be a gorgeous 15 pounder one day!!

Wow, thanks for the warning..artificial grass removed..... Now is ther anything I should worry about when the newspaper gets wet, I spray the cage regularly to keep the humidity up to around 70....some newspaper gets really messy...and there is that ink that can run....hmm......also....my iggy likes to sleep behind the large log i na hiding place, there there anything I can use for soft bedding?

Go to your local newspaper and ask for end rolls. Many times you can get them for next to nothing. You have all the benefits of using newspaper but NO ink!
I've gotten 18" wide rolls for about $4. I think the one's I've gotten usually have at least 100 feet of paper on them.
